Ah Ha! I think you’ve got it @wirlybird! The lower part of the left arm and sword are not aligned correctly, it looks like they’ve rotated about 20-30 degrees from where they should be, so the “mess” is just the result of this lower arm part being loose (but not fully disconnected) and eventually …

Has anyone else noticed a massive drop in orders since joining fulfilled. I was getting 2 or 3 a day before and now I have only had one in the last 11 days (with the customer didn’t respond to) not a great start

Good afternoon, I am trying to start up my SLA printing and prototyping projects and was wondering how you guys price your SLA and resin and everything… I’m just trying to find a baseline model to work from so that I’m not over charging or under pricing prints. I know with the resin and accuracy of…

And then in the comment for declining the order there isn’t even an appropriate option-- If a CUSTOMER chooses to go with one of the other 10 simultaneous quotes they started why is my hub rank affected?

I have a new (a few weeks old), but slightly used fully assembled Original Prusa i3 Mk2s that I would like to sell. I bought it for about $1000, and would like to sell it for around $750. I will include one unopened spool of Makergeeks dark green ABS. I will also include 3D Printed vibration dampeni…

Please discontinue Express Checkout. I am consistently the number 1 ranked Hub in Chicago, a large market, and the Express Checking is funneling all the Chicago orders to “John” in Fargo, ND. This is true even though I am closer in distance, have a better response time, more reviews, a higher overal…

I’m at wit’s end on this one… not sure if it is a filament issue or not. PLA 1.68 Yes it is/ has been dry Filament extrudes straight down, no curling (test for clogging) when forced through Bed Temp 70 Print Speed 40 Hot End temp 210 Layer Height 0.1 Bed leveled at printing temp (A4 barely dr…

Hello everyone! I must say I’m a really huge fan of the new dashboard. Noticed it just recently with all these crazy graphs and information galore. Always great to have more information! That being said, I do have a strange issue with the average rating feature. My average hub rating is 4.95, which…

So I try really hard to help people on this forum, because as a recipient of help when I was getting started, I try to share that help with others. But the number of posts asking for help that are one or two sentences long are making me a little cranky this morning. The number of helpful folks who a…

95% of the time it’s to play us off each other. Or it’s a student with a garbage model that isn’t 3d printable and just uploading anywhere to try and get a hit.

Reason #844
-
Agreed but I wouldn’t expect much from 3Dhubs
-
Yup. 3D Hubs sucks. I’ve had this happen a bunch of times because they let customers submit the same order a bunch of times to different hubs. Then there’s no way to cancel without it affecting our own rating. Even if they don’t reply or don’t pay it just sits in the active orders tab. I’ve emailed…
-
You can’t. You have to decline the order to remove it from your “active” list or eventually it gets archived, both of which have a negative impact on your hub ranking. If you email Support, I believe they can apply some magic to restore your completion rate.

Sole proprietorship is a good, inexpensive option for getting into business quickly. Depending on your location it requires little to no work. Just google “How to Start a Sole Proprietorship in (insert state here)”. Your income from 3D hubs minus expenses (filament, repair parts) gets added to your …

Mine went down from 86 to 81 over the last few days and I’ve been accepting and completing all orders. Even a stupid $7 order just to get my rank up… I really hate 3DHubs
-
When searching for a hub near you, 3D hubs does not allow you to look for a hub without submitting an STL file. I now cannot find a hub near me to discuss printing a project for me. I now have purchased a 3d printer and make my own stuff. I think 3D hubs is going in a direction that does not fav…

If 3dHubs is going to micro-manage all of us hubs, then I would say that we are being employed by 3dHubs and that we should be also compensated per hour for anything that we have to do with regards to printing. Uber lost its claim that it was just an app and that it’s driver’s were subcontractors, a…
-
What is sad is that 3DHubs is doing this in a vacuum. Did they reach out to hubs asking them what to do? Probably 2 or 3 in Amsterdam. My hubs prices are very low, as the goal for me is to get 3d printed parts out to people for a reasonable cost. There is no place to state what are optional services…
-
I agree, time for us to create our own system. 3d Hubs is getting way to ridiculous
-
I agree with @ProtoCulture . 3D hubs is in the business of providing the interface to connect service providers with service seekers. They should focus on providing an interface that allows us to operate with just as much flexibility as our customers have, not dictating how we do business. 3D Hubs …

| "“Don’t be racist …” Oh good grief. I am so sick of EVERY thing in the new “society” being “racist”.
-
I agree Also the search function on the site is much worse than the old messageboard system. Very difficult to search old topics
-
Can you give us a more concrete timeline on the development of this feature? Arnoldas posted that 3D Hubs was working on this – 11 months ago.

They didn’t show you the suggestion box? [cbcqpkjveaaya29.jpg]

True true - i’ve had two “printer parts” orders. When you can’t print it or can’t get the part right, you need to reach out just like any other customer! Printing for fellow Hubbers makes you go the extra mile as you are basically printing for your competition - so you have to show off!

Did you set up a hub? It doesnt look like it. Really bad form to come on here and ask people to contact you directly! How do you think 3dhubs gets paid?
-
For now, how about resetting the acceptance status if a change is made, at least? Customer changes made = Hub acceptance required The order paid for HAS to match the order printed, or else chaos. Thanks for listening.

Hi @Maker5162 thanks for the clarification. I think price vs quality and reliability becomes a very difficult discussion when dealing with technology (or many other things for that matter!). It’d be lovely to be able to definitively say that a “thing” that costs twice as much as another “thing” does…
