Kentucky’s number one reason for everything 3D printing!

I’m sorry to hear that dude. That sounds like a nightmare. I saw this potential from many of the kickstarter printers having helped out on two successful projects in the past. This sounds mighty familiar to the other stories I’ve both seen and read after delivery. Many will argue that it’s because o…

I would also recommend ultimaker if you’re looking for a hassle free, but smaller, machine than the Raises. I buy my nylon through Breathe3D, another product my company resells as well, but it’s the easiest nylon to print (in my opinion) and the nylon infused PLA++ is insanely easy to print with wi…

Never used an Onix but you find plenty of Raise3D users here. I love my raises and use them for service printing due to their high reliability. With that said, I’m also a reseller and would rather not cause a conflict of interest (especially since I have no experience with the Onix.) Curious to read…

[I’ve decided to redact my comment as it was self-promotion.] It’s a great printer for the price compared to other large volume printers. I’ve found users support experience to be mixed based on location so having local 3D printing people nearby is always a plus. It’s extremely reliable even with th…

Hey Thierry, my company does this exact sort of replacement part service if you’re interested. www.artlab3Dprinting.com With that said, I recommend looking into fusion 360 to possible do the design yourself. Doing it yourself will be the most cost effective solution but will take more time.

You do you man, no worries on my part. I personally I’m not a huge fan of flashforge as their machines are so freakin’ loud. Had two different models in my shop for repairs and they were both noticeable louder than all my other machines beside an old Delta. Made it tough to talk to customers when th…

They say they ship in 5 days after the order but they wait on banks to finish transfers first which can vary the transfer time + ground shipping to keep it affordable (was $250-$500+ back in the Kickstarter DHL days.)
-
About 2 to 3 weeks usually rarely more unless the shipping carrier runs into an issue. We’ve had that happen on a few remote locations.
-
No problem man! Shipping is included in the cost of the machine anywhere in mainland US. You’re good!
-
Concerning the screen, you’d still be using it… just not over WiFi or to view the 2D still image of your print. You can even just install Ideamaker just to WiFi connect the machine for remote control. Really are not missing much regardless of slicer. I like Ideamaker, it’s not as fussy or ugly as ot…

To answer some of your questions wirlybird: -- -- “Bed leveling seems to be an issue when you get to larger prints. A common thread is that it is ok for “normal” prints in the middle but as you get to larger prints it is not so good and needs adjusting which appears to be a pain. This printer see…

Great responses everyone, I’m in agreement with all of it so far. If anyone needs more local support and are in the east coast US, my shop is in Kentucky and can assist in getting started regardless of the FDM you choose. I know Tulsa isn’t exactly close wirlybird but we’re here if you need anything…
-
Hey wirlybird, happy to answer as a 3rd party who also sells the units as a reseller. Depending on your needs and budget, it might be a perfect printer for you but that’s up to the application. For the build volume, I’d say its the best bang for your buck printer out there. It has some notable sacr…

I’m only three hours or so away from you in Lexington KY. I have two (soon three.) Feel free to contact me to get more info: artlabky@gmail.com

The bed does certainly come pre-leveled. It’s very rigid. You can watch this video to get more info on what you should do once your Raise3D has arrived: - YouTube In short, you calibrate the distance between the nozzle and the bed with a knob on the left hand side of the machine. If you are replaci…

To be expected at anything new. I’ll be happy to answer little questions here or there, otherwise I’ll forward you to other online support groups. If you buy the printer through ArtLab (at no cost difference to you) I can offer a lot.more help.

Great, please share your experiences! Feel free to give me a call if you’d like to answer a few more questions before your order: 859-903-5857

It’s a great extruder but the bondtech is unique in how it handles flexible filament. General printing performance is great without the upgrade.
-
Yes but it’s generally cheaper to get on Amazon.
-
No problem, it’s a build surface you put on the top of the glass sheet. It keeps your object adhered to the base as it prints.
-
Ideamaker is actually quite good. These folks probably used a beta version or something early during the Kickstarter because I have no issues and use nearly every function. They also update quite regularly.
-
PolyFlex (Pokymaker) and Phoenix Nylon (Breathe3D) work great, but in my experience NinjaFlex and SemiFlex work best with the Bondtech extruder upgrade.

If anyone wants to help out a fellow maker, I independently sell Raise3Ds for their team after I fell in love with my first N2. You can go to my site www.artlab3dprinting.com or raise3D.com to get one. You’ll pay the same price either way.
-
Yes! Sorry www.artlab3dprinting.com
-
Love it. Absolutely worth the investment for the build scale.
-
If that was your first print, then the user error is even worse. There’s no way that the material can cake on there and burn like that without negligence.
-
www.raise3D.com they are $3300. If you mention ArtLab3D during sale, you help me out but it’s not required. Got any questions, feel free to ask.
-
Absolutely love my Raise3D N2. Fantastic print quality, huge build volume. Only thing I don’t like is how the filament is fed into the printer. Has to fight gravity too much but doesn’t seem to effect print quality so whatever. Phillip, just FYI, that won’t effect print quality as long as the barrel…

Awesome! My customers were always so confused by the admins. Thanks!

What do you mean by clumps? Could you describe it in more detail? Is it over extrusion, under? Also, what is your filament manufacturer? A machine is only as good as the filament you put into it at the end of the day. It’s important to keep in mind that your extruder can only make .5mm thin walls s…
