Hi Rada, my apologies, I thought it was zortrax support in general you were referring to.
-
This statement is entirely untrue… I for one have had some serious problems sorted out by Zortrax and associated parts were replaced quickly and a solution was found. I cannot emphasize how helpful they have been.
-
*****Turn off the machine***** After the machine is unplugged, cam you twist the leadscrew that the build plate is on? You can wind it down pretty quickly. This should at least allow the machine to recover.

I have great news!!! The M200 is perfectly fine. The problem was MOISTURE… The struggle is real people. Please please please store your petg in an air tight container with silica gel in. I would also look into advanced storage and preparation methods. Im seriously considering a vacuum oven. A 10 hou…

I did write a far more concise account but it didnt upload the images and crashed. Strange thing is it prints perfectly the marvin test at 200% I was using fans at 80% as it was a large print. But if not even the raft builds this is strange. Once i get brand new filament i will update. As a side not…

The hole hot end has been stripped cleaned and nozzle replaced. Abs and ultrat work fine. But client needs petg for spec reasons. I think the petg must have suffered the moisture problem. Absorbing water and changing state. I.e. becoming more brittle and less capable of flowing freely. But hopefully…

Having major problems with zortrax extruder. New nozzle but still starves filament and z-petg not flowing to create good raft. Any help gratefully received T [img_20170308_130004.jpg]

I keep only the latest firmware update on the machine. I fixed the problem of the Z-Ultrat coming away using abs glue. The issue is soley with the disabled pause on raft building. In my opinion the beggining is probably the important part of the process.
-
Is this not the most likely stage of the build where things can go wrong?
-
Hi people, Recently i have the problem of z-ultrat raft being accidentally pulled of the print bed. Not enough goo
but… After trying to cancel/pause the print (press and hold menu button for 10 seconds) NOTHING happens so i have to turn the printer off… Not ideal. Has anybody had this happen? Is it…

Whereabouts in the world are you? My next question, how much are you budgeting for this and do you have any timescales? I am in surrey, uk. Have a great weekend and maybe catch up soon.

I have incredible car contacts and engineering experience on this if you would like to take further. Pm me

Hi Shannon, I had the same problem on a regular basis. You can do a few things during a build that sometimes go overlooked. Orientation of actual object (Marvin) you can try rotating 45, 90 or some random amount. This can sometimes take the mess away from the leading edge. (more in multiple prints…

Can I recommend if you are going to make a heat bed that you do it in zones. You can then heat the area that you are printing on. i.e. small print zone 1, medium print zone 2 large print zone 3. alternatively you could have integrated zones so that they better distributed heat. good luck with your m…

The end stops are a simple continuity switch but the two wires must make full contact. I advise physically pushing them or gently wiggling them to make sure contact is made

I had this exact same problem. It’s not fun as it makes alarming metal on metal noises. You should ensure the spade connectors on the micro switches are 100% connected triple check and hopefully this works for you. If you want to give yourself some time to check the end stops but don’t want to squas…

Do you have burning problems with all abs? or just one particular ABS Colour/reel of filament? just to emphasise the exact part of the process you must remove is before print as the hotend must heat up again after calibration and it is this exact point of the process that the ooze is at its largest…
-
Can you confirm that you are removing the oozed approximate 10mm length of filament 1 or 2 seconds prior to print? From turning the machine on just getting the machine up to temperature will cause the nozzle to ooze. and if you calibrate prior to printing (I calibrate every time as a matter of proc…
-
Hi There I find giving the nozzle a quick clean with a blade and just prior to print you will sometimes see the nozzle oozes about 10mm of filament that sometimes curls up and attaches itself to the nozzle. This then proceeds to burn and then transfers to your print. If you can, using long tweezers …

This offer is (was) not a hoax. i have that exact offer printing away right now. Best decision I ever made.

Hi there I’m curious of the dimensions of the print… Assuming it’s abs? It will improve the troubleshooting if the exact material is known. Is the anchor/raft embedding nicely to the holes? This could be a problem. as a work around, try putting some small coin shape objects (stl models ) around the…
