ya, since then I have found out that the plus uses a newer updated board, so you would have to upgrade the board and the LCD, and the plus is only $100(CDN) more…

looks interesting, sure would be nice to not have the control box, it is a pain when I am working on the printer, I have considered cutting the cable and putting a big connector in there.

if it is anything like my Duplicator i3 it should be pretty good, I like the specs, depending on the reviews I might pick one up as a second printer.

Another thought related to this, is that SMS messages come from a different number every time, so multiple notifications show as multiple conversations. Would be nice to have them all come from one number.

The visor might be tricky, but there are some clear filaments like T-glase from Taulman, and they can be treated to look clearer, but it still might give you limited visibility, here is an example:
