  • How hard is it to remove from the build tack. Looks like your calibration may have the extruder a little too close to the print bed.

  • Can you post a photo or two?

  • I gave up on all of the tapes. I went to Wolfbite solution for ABS. It is about $20 per bottle, but a little goes a long way. It can be reapplied for a couple of prints and it washes off of the glass with water and a sponge. I have the glass set up so it can be easily removed and I just wash it off …

  • I have printed with nylon and it seems to me that it would be very flexible when done. If it is supposed to be very stiff, try PETG. It is very strong and will give just the right amount of flex and stiffness.

  • Most of the dual extruder machines, the right extruder is slightly higher than the left. This is by design. So if you are calibrating by the right extruder this would happen for sure. If it is a Creator Pro, there is an extruder calibration selection in the firmware to help get them each to the righ…

  • I would use either ABS or PETG. Should be Translucent filament of the color of your choice.

  • How old is the filament. I have seen these issues with filament left sitting, not vacuum sealed and no desicant in the vacuum sealed bag. Filament naturally absorbs moisture from the air. Both ABS and PLA does this. Sometimes I have to throw half a spool away. A filament drier is on my list of thing…

  • Both of mine squeaked in the beginning too. Could be after manufacturing they sat in storage a while and perhaps a moisture issue where ever it was being store. They were not purchase together either. I don’t know, but the oil cleared it up. I do a monthly maintenance with oil. My printers are going…

  • My experience has been that using grease on the rods causes them to gum up overtime. The bearings are much smaller and the grease seems to gum up. The machine oil is thinner an gets things moving again.

  • The grease is probably for the ball screw threads. The linear rods should be lubed with light machine oil. Your x and y axis rods need to be lube with the machine oil as well.

  • You can always adjust your hot end down, then recalibrate the bed. You didn’t mention what machine you have, but if it is a dual extruder, the second hot end would have to be adjusted too. Then the machine should have a dual extruder calibration that can be performed.

  • I have a similar issue with both my printers. I solve it by scaling the part by .04% on one and .05% on the other. I found the proper percenage by printing a 100mm square. I only printed it 10mm high. Then I measured the print and did the math. My turned out to be off equally on each axis. If you on…

  • Yes I had the same experience with an order too big for my printer and 3DHubs support told me they were looking into it, but that the software is supposed to make that check before putting the list of available hubs.

  • Sounds like a problem with the file. Try this service. Netfabb Online Service It is the best file repair service I have found and it is free.

  • Looks like either the filament is binding up coming off the reel or the extruder has a small clog restricting flow. Take a look at this link on Thingiverse. My filament was getting caught, after I installed this, I never had that issue again.
