Hi all, I am having a problem getting clean prints due to some gapping between the first and second layers. I’ve tried to modify 1st layer height, extrusion width, but still haven’t been able to resolve this issue. The rest of the print past the 2nd layer is fine. I’m using an A8 Chinese close of …

Thanks all for all of your help. Final update: I installed the 10A switch first (because the SSR had to ship from China and Japan - I ordered two), with one modification. There was also a signal line (DC+/DC-/IN), so I split the +ve wire from the board to the DC+ and IN). This worked fine. Then I …

Thanks again! @tpalagyi Have already ordered this SSR. So the second part of your message means, it would be better to replace the heatbed all together with say this: keenovo heat pad and use a different SSR (such as this: SSR-DA)?

I also realized the wire I was using was too small. Need to use a lower gauge wire, I’m planning to use 14 awg.

I had a problem with my board / power overheating (previous post) and have ordered a new board. I’ve also ordered a relay in order to avoid such a problem in the future. I’ve attached a diagram of how I think this is supposed to be wired. The relay I ordered is for 10A, but I think the heat bed c…

Thanks for your responses @MSdesignCo (I definitely was not going to try to print with it as is) @tpalagyi. I’ve already ordered a new board. I think I’ll also try to wire in a relay and clean up the wiring (@keebie81@keebie81). Anyone have any experience in wiring a relay? I’ve ordered the rela…

Please see attached picture. The power in green plug has melted and the wire inside was glowing orange/smoking. - Heat bed installed - Power supply set to 12v Prior to turning on the printer, it had completed a 2 hour print. After that, I tried to print again and noticed the smoke / orange glow. …

Thanks everyone for all of your help and suggestions. I tried running at lower temps (@iceman198 @nmaggioni) and this seems to be the problem. I had it run a 3 hour print overnight, it didn’t complete (!) but it nearly completed and there were no signs of jamming. I need to further investigate when…

Printer: He3D Delta DLT 180 Printer with autoleveling and heat bed The filament is constantly getting jammed in the heat sync. It bunches up into knots in various parts of the heat sync, (1) inside the screw from the extruder, (2) inside the heat sync above the extruder screw, (3) on top of the hea…

Changing: MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS to 210 worked. The heat bed platform increases the height, therefore the home position needed to be adjust. Autolevel now works.

Or the alternative changing MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS and vertical print size from 230 to 210.

Hello, I am trying to setup my He3D delta printer and am currently having a problem with autoleveling. The autoleveling seems to work, but immediately upon completion the extruder proceeds to crash into the heatbed. I tried this with Z_RAISE_AFTER_PROBING = 0 or 10 neither worked. However, whe…

Hello, I just built my He3D delta kit and am not just finalizing the power supply wiring. In the diagram provided by He, it has the brown wire connected to N and blue wire connected to L. This seems to be the reverse of everything else I’ve seen, it seems questionable. Attached is the diagram. Can…
