I guess this approach just could cost you customers. IMHO in certain sense you are not delivering what you are promising… I don’t like price fighting at all. From my point of view I rather have customers that are willing to pay a price for the quality I deliver.

Recently I noticed this printer at the MakerPoint store in Utrecht, de dddrop. http://www.makerpoint.nl/nl/dddrop-leader.html Althoug a bit pricey, it looked very decent, and has a closed build platform, excellent for printing ABS.

Detail is in 20 micron, echter bij een dikkere nozzle heb je iets meer ronding. Dwz als je een blokje print, zijn de hoeken minder scherp bij een 0.8 nozzel dan een 0.4. Alleen is een 0.4 nozzle veel langer aan het printen. Het detailniveau wat nodig is verschilt dan per ontwerp.

I would definitely give meshmixer a try. It’s simple yet powerfull. I use it all the time for postprocessing my scans.

I have an Ultimaker II, as a second printer I have a Kossel deltaprinter. Drawback of both printers they have that bowden tube, which is not ok when printing flex filaments. However the Kossel does have the coolness factor of a delta

Tinkercad keeps me amazed what one can do. I’ve seen 9 year old children build fairly complicated objects with a learning curve of about 2 hours… It’s amazing.

I’m very new to Z-Brush, so these screenshots work great. Can anyone give any comments on how Z-Brush compares with Rhino and/or Blender? I know from Blender one can do almost everything using the keyboard, granted you know the shortcuts… Rhino I like for fabrication automation…
