We love the Form1+, fantastic print quality and have had some great results with Ultimaker2 using ColorFabb filament.
+1
I do consider it, but I am looking for very high quality prints… Don’t know if there’s a good kit available
Loved the Atom, but it seems like there’s no hot bed? How does ABS play without it?
Do you have any experience with the ATOM. It looks really nice!
Sorry, I don’t know that printer, but I compared many prints, and normally DeltaWASP make the job better.
Precision and easy of use…
Anyway if you choice to buy a WASP I will help you in case of problems. Are you a newbie or your are an expert maker?
Intermediate Maker. I know my way around electronics though.
Do you have a website? How can I contact you?
¿Do you have stock?
The B9 Creator is pretty awesome. Super high resolution. We use ours all the time and its really easy to use. We have info on our website if you would like to look at it.
B9 Creator seems good! Any idea in speed compared to the Form1+
From 1 to 10, what do you think of the Ultimaker II? I like the WASP, but I think that for service, quality and speed the Ultimaker II is a good choice!
I have a TAZ 4 (lulzbot) and I love it. It has a large build volume, good print quality, and a giant range of filament. The company also has great customer support, and all the parts are open source. Check it out!
For a DIY printer I have heard some good things about Velleman Vertex new 3D printer kit. Maybe worth taking a look. I have no personal experience with it tho
As with every new printer you will need to take some time learning (and appreciating) the machine. Having spent a considerable amount of time with other 3d printers (Kossel, Prusa I3, Leapfrog) I honestly can say the Ultimaker II outperforms in reliability and in constant print quality. And it’s open source which definitely is a plus.
Sorry for the late reply… My site is: http://www.cosmo3d.it
Hey guys, you can always exchange hub profile links too
And don’t forget to let us know what you’ve decided
I just recently got an UM2 as my third printer with a Prusa I3 RepRap as the first and a Wanhao Duplicator 4s as second. I am not at all sorry to have done so even given the cost. I like the quality, speed, that it uses non-proprietary filament, and it looks good. I use the Wanhao for ABS as it is fully enclosed and my workspace is drafty and poses a challenge for ABS on the UM2.
i considered a Form 1 as the quality is absolutely amazing but the mess of dealing with Resin and the complicated support structures that cane required ( would recommend some research here ) talked me out of it.
Hey @Mark_Smito, what’s the decision in the end?
