  • Sounds almost like the part is trying to print above the platform, if this is not the case, it may be tiny pieces of filament in the drive gear. Is the filament extruding normally when you load it and clear the last filament out? is the problem occurring on both extruder heads?

  • If your left head is low and dragging across the part, that could be some of your problem. I had the same issue and ended up putting two pieces of paper under my left extruder to make them level. Glass and Aquanet also helped my process.

  • Did you ever figure out what the issue was?

  • Look to see where the spring is on your y belt, when it is home(Back Right) the spring should be on the top belt loop about 3"-4" from the front. This spring may be causing it to jam up when it goes to the front position if the belt slipped.

  • If you are printing on glass is it moving? looks like something is loose and moving in X and Y axis. May want to make sure the spring tensions Clips on the belts are tight and in place.

  • Glad you have the issue solved. I have printed 12 almost identical parts with a very narrow end that is subject to lifting off the plate. I started at 105C when I first got the printer and they were lifting up on the narrow end, when I went to 100C it got better, at 95C they are perfect but I had us…

  • I am having great success running my bed at 95C, I checked the temp and found it was running higher than the settings so I adjusted it down 5 degrees at a time and found 95C to be the magic number for my printer. I am not adding hair spray on every print, I just us a razor blade scraper to remove an…

  • Sent- Let me know if you don’t get it.

  • What temps are you using? I would use 220C extruder and 95C Bed. I would also use Aquanet Extra super hold Hair spray on the glass.

  • I had a few problems when using the blue surface that came on it, but have not had a single part release since I put the glass on top of it. [IMG_3536.JPG]

  • Any other suggestions, let me know and I will edit them into the original post.

  • If you have never used glass I would highly suggest trying it. I have two pieces and if I am in a hurry to start another print I can remove one piece and put the other one in and go. I have found that 95C works great with glass and ABS. I designed my own glass clamps because the ones on thingiverse …

  • I have only been 3D printing for a month now but wanted to share my experiences for other people who are new to this exciting yet challenging hobby. Many of my failed prints could have been avoided had I known some of the information listed below. After I ordered my FlashForge Dreamer I was searchi…

  • I’m new to 3d printing but if your shell is set to 0 what gives it the outside profile? From watching my printer it lays the shells and then connects the inside to them. The last shell always goes slow, which I assume gives it the clear definition on the outside.
