https://imgur.com/a/8vVVD maker select v2 using pla. 20 print speed and move. 200 and 60 degrees. Even the base looks like it’s stringy. It looks like the filament keeps coming out when it tries to move to the creature. I’m printing one of those eye creatures from d&d. What’s the issue here anyone…

I turned down to 200 and 60 and it got bumpy Ina few areas then peeled up in the back side which was close to the edge of the bed.
-
I’ll try that thank you. For bed leveling I like to make it so the filament is about 1/2 squished. So it’ll be flat but not so flat where it’s impossible to scrape. Is that what you do as well?
-
Thought I posted that sorry. cura maker select v2 pla 210 print 65 bed I’ll double check print speeds tonight but should be 60 print 50 first layer travel I believe is 80.

https://imgur.com/gallery/B91Fy?s=sms my print keeps warping and the corners look melted. I tried to mess with the cooling to fix the warping and I also tried to mess with temp to fix the melting look but neither work. Anyone have ideas?
-
I’ll try that tonight thank you. Nothing else I do is working so why not lol.
-
I just noticed something you said here. If cura recognizes printer. How do I know if it recognizes my printer?
-
Yeah sorry I just got to it. I forgot to ask how did you print it? Sd card or direct connect?
-
Thanks for the tip. Couple of other people printed the exact same file without any issues. I have been able to print some other models but my machine seems to randomly dislike some. Someone gave advice to checkfor heat creep so I’m going to do that too.
-
I’ll check that but the machIne is only a couple weeks old so I hope I didn’t get a defective part. The filament moves if I manually extrude though.
-
I tried that and it’s weird the layers all look great. Should layer view also show supports if they are enabled? its the newest cura 2.x something.
-
It is pla so I’ll try that thank you.
-
It’s not brittle but thanks for suggestion. Everything is only a couple weeks old.
-
Cool thank you how should I send the model?
-
Awesome thanks I’ll try that.
-
Nice thanks I’ll try this when I get home
-
Thanks but I center it after every change and make sure there’s nothing lifted. Also my model has connected parts so i enable support.
-
Thanks I’ll try that tonight

So I’ve been trying to print a model of mine for a week without any progress. My printer will not print my model. It’ll print a perfect looking skirt that’s been the easiest to clean from the plate so far but as soon as it starts the model it makes the movements but won’t extrude anything. Anyone ha…

I do not see any option in Cura to use USB to print and my options on my maker select machine do not show a USB print. Where do I find the option?
