  • I thought that if you switch to a hotend that you will then have to make a lot of adjustments to temps and speeds to adjust for the original nozzle? Is this true? I have things dialed in pretty good right now.

  • I have ABS selected but I have Left Extruder Only selected. When it heats up both nozzles are heating up at the same time to what temp I have selected. 220/220. Both get to same temp and stay there. I thought I have selected everything as left only. I do that for the temp selection too.

  • I only have one nozzle selected. Yes FFCP is selected. I print in ABS so I have that selected. Still heats both heads up.

  • Only part of mine that is metal is the frame. The entire outside of mine is plastic.

  • I’m wondering if I received an older model when I bought mine in Aug. I thought I was getting the newest version. Is yours newer?

  • How long have you had yours? I bought mine in Aug. did I get ripped off? Are the new ones supposed to be all metal, frame and body?

  • Mine is plastic. Did I not get the newer version? I thought I was given the 2016 model when I bought this back in Aug.

  • Here are the photos. 1st photo, the broke apart side. 2nd photo, piece that were just laying there. 3rd photo, other back side about ready to give way, cracking in the exact same spot. [dsc06950.jpg] [dsc06952.jpg] [dsc06953.jpg]

  • I just bought it this Aug. The rubber feet are connected to plastic and the plastic broke apart and the rubber and plastic just fell out. I’ll try and get some pics but I can’t lift the printer for a few hours as it is printing right now. I can show the broken pieces. I did not do this. It has sat i…

  • If yours happens to crumble apart you will notice that the very bottom where its bumpy is rubber connected to plastic. It all busted apart. I’ll have to get a picture.

  • 4 top and bottom and 3 perimeter.

  • Are you talking about infill % if so it was only 20%.

  • Nope, no fan with ABS just the PLA. I have tried the fan with ABS before with some success. Which fill setting exactly?? There are so many on Simplify. Which tab is it under? Thanks

  • Here are photos of what the file looks like before being ready to print and when being ready to print. They look fine to me. I think its something with my printer. [sim_thread.png] [sim_thread1.png]

  • Here is the thingiverse stl. Knurling bolt and nut by akira3dp0 - Thingiverse Others print it out no problem. I have something wrong. I’ll take another look at the part in simplifiy.

  • I am using hatchbox filament and yes I had the fan on 100%. I have always had overhang issues with this printer no matter what settings I try or supports I use. I was even printing slower than you.

  • Simplify. I have tried to watch it but its kinda hard to tell even when I get up close.

  • Have you tried making your brim hold down your part by offsetting it very close to the print? It has worked for me in certain circumstances.

  • I want to look underneath my printer and check to see if I have this issue but don’t really know what to look for. I bought my FF Creator Pro this Aug. Should I be ok or was the fix just to the bed itself and not underneath? Any help will be appreciated as I don’t want a fire. Thanks, Jim

  • I just bought this one in Aug. of this year from Amazon so I’m hoping its a 2016.

  • Where is the best place to purchase replacement parts?

  • All I know is that with and without the glass there is a low spot in the left rear corner.

  • I have done this but the bed is warped. I put a straight edge on it and I can slide a piece of paper under the one side. Tang said they will ship me a new bed since I have only had this printer two weeks.

  • I put a straight edge on the bed and it is lower on one side. I can slide a piece of paper under it on that side. I have a glass bed and it sits on the bed so it doesn’t help there.

  • Thanks for all the advice it is appreciated.

  • I am using a flashforge creator pro. Undersides of my prints that have overhangs have a bad finish. I am just trying to find a way to make the finish better at this part of the print.
