I need x axis wires and some more ptf tubes. Where is a good place to purchase these? Thanks
Depends where you are but ebay and search for QIDI. The part for the Tech-1 are mainly the same and much cheaper than flashforge.
Stepper cables can be found on Amazon also but you need to really make sure it is the correct one for terminals etc.
You can but all the parts on the flashforge website.

You can buy the cables from flashforge. instead of buying ptfe tubes you should invest in a microswiss hotend.
I thought that if you switch to a hotend that you will then have to make a lot of adjustments to temps and speeds to adjust for the original nozzle? Is this true? I have things dialed in pretty good right now.
We switched our nozzle to a Micro Swiss and haven’t had an issues with different nozzle temps and speeds.
If you are only printing PLA and ABS or materials that don’t need temps above 230-235 then there is no real reason to change.
The main reason for going to an all metal hotend setup is to be able to run at higher temps.
When I went to all metal setups on one of my Creator Pro’s I had to work with retraction and temps a little. Mostly retractions.

I upgraded my machine with microswiss hotends and didn’t need to change any of my settings for pla or abs other than extrusion % but I attribute that to having a new nozzle again and not one that had hundreds of hours on it. No other settings were changed.
A lot can depend on the filament and the model. Also the slicer. I really just depends.
Mostly I think it comes more down to some fine tuning than major changes. On PLA I ended up changing retraction from about 1.4-1.6mm to .6-.8mm and upping the speed slightly.
