That’s also the bottom of the print, the square pattern appears to be the support/raft.

Change the model? The “triangles” are there because that’s where it changes layer height. The bottom surface is curved and not flat it looks a bit of a pain to print cleanly.

Some of the flashforges are 2560 chip boards and they can run sailfish.

that looks quite thin between the solid top and bottom layers which will be solid there may be only 1 or 2 layers of infill.Click on view mode (eye on the left) then layer mode to get a preview of what it is going to do by layer.

Tested did an video on youtube showing insalling some replacement arms, the ones I have bought just brace the plastic arms so just take out the bolts put the brace on and bolt up.

You can buy metal arms or extra braces , or even print extra bracing to stop/fix this.

There are many screws/bolts in the CTC that will work there way loose which reminds me I need to by some lock tight and do all my bolts

Don’t upgrade your CTC through Makerbot it either won’t work or you will lose functionality (like cards bigger than 2g). search for sailfish and upgrade from that.

Yes, it does work but because our CTC are a Makerbot Clones you need to do a lot of extra work. for the serial connection set serial port to /dev/tty/ACM0 and Baudrate to 115200 you should then be able to connect. You will need the GPX plugin as others have said, remember our is a Replicator 1 Dua…

Are you printing from SD or over USB if over USB the serial connection could of had issues which is why some people only print from the SD card. Edit: whoops it showed no replies so I replied then it showed all the others please ignore me

Are you leveling while cold? As the bed (and area heat up) the arms will move so level the bed at the temperature that you will be printing.
