This is math that is to complicated for me
my current rating is 4.88 and how many 5 star reviews would i need to get my avg to 4.95?

Hi @Boelle you need the number of reviews you have that make up the current score of 4.88. Once you have that, the equation is:
(4.88 + 5x)/(y + x) = 4.95 (where y is the number of reviews you have so far)
The answer is going to be “quite a lot” if you’ve got any reasonable number of reviews…

yeah, i suspected a lot is needed
it was more the formula i could not figure
my hub says: Based on 48 reviews.
and the fun thing is when i look at my hub page the avg. is 4.9, but i guess that is just a round up from 4.88
stupid q: but what is X in that formula?
but so far i could rewrite is as: (4.88 + 5x)/(48 + x) = 4.95
of course… x must be the number of 5 star reviews i need

x is the number of reviews you need. Sorry, I missed a bit from the equation, it should be:
((4.88 * 48) + 5x)/(48 + x) = 4.95
which works out to 68 5* reviews (67.2 to be precise).
phew… i got to it a far sinister high number (4654.4)

Yes, you would if you used my original equation, which is why I realised it was wrong
You may actually get there a bit quicker than 68, as I believe 3DHubs only uses a certain number of the most recent reviews, not “all time”, though I could be wrong and I don’t know what that number is.
hehe
i will just take 68 as worst case and it can only go faster
But i dont mind, even thou i have been on the platform since 2014 i still have small things to learn now and then
but i do have the quality somewhat down only i have problem with tiny cylinders they tend to get stringy if to close to each other and they are very brittle
not sure if you know the test objects from treatstock? so things like 2mm in diameter or less is a pain
from the dashboard “Average rating of your services given by the 50 most recent customers.”
so i guess its a rolling 50 review window they base it on
