Thanks for your reply. I was hoping flashing to the newest firmware was not the answer, I have read that other people had problems flashing to the newest firmware. But, why it failed on the z-axis only? Thanks.

Hi Uscan The question will be how to re-home the machine correctly. It is working for the Y & x axis but, not for the z-axis.

Also, I didn’t want to reinvented the wheel, hence, the question for settings so I can use it as a base line and to compare them to my settings. I’ll try both…

Hi Sorry for the long delay in updating this thread. For me the PrintBite worked on the Printrbot simple metal without a heated bed. I had to increase the temperature of the PLA to 210 degree. In some cases when printing at 0.1 mm I use a thin layer of pritt stick glue, which help with adhesive. …

Thanks for feedback. I’m not using a heated bed. I’m using PLA. At the moment I’m trying to get the correct height. So, it is not a good idea to use alcohol solution to clean printbite?
