Yes, we intent to release it as open source when we have the final product ready. At the moment we have printed succesfully with PLA, HIPS, and ABS, and we will soon try out more type of filaments

Well it’s a nozzle of our own design that is able to be feed with 3 X 1.75mm filament at the same time. It’s all metal so it can take high temp. filaments. Our current design uses bowden tube in order to keep the weight down on the printhead but we do have plans for a direct drive version…

We are mainly concentrating on getting the software and the right settings to work before we move to different materials. But we have tried PLA, ABS and HIPS with no problem and we don’t see why it shouldn’t work with the other commonly used filaments as it is a all metal hotend.

Yes it is designed to be mounted on any 1.75mm filament printer, depending on the size of the printer of course. The printer electronics must be able to handle 3 extruders. We use the RUMBA board in our development. There will be a basic mechanical mounting fixture on the hotend/nozzle and then i…
