Meshmixer can, under certain circumstances, create a model with bad vertices. Put the model through Microsoft Netfabb or makeprintable.com, and see if that helps.

If you’re looking for simple and easy to use the website, I would go with https://www.MakePrintable.com. Its a 4 step process and requires little configurations or settings. Just orient your model vertically and they have an interface that will enable you to do so. Mike

I agree if you are using FDM printers, however for more advanced powder printing, this feature is actually more tactical. Also, the difference between infill and MP hollow feature is that the STL file will be hollowed out, with infill only the print will be hollowed.
