I would only do that if you really, really need dual extrusion. The UM2+ is a great machine.

There is a heated bed kit for the UM2Go from 3dSolex. As you are from Germany, see here: Ultimaker 2 Go beheiztes Druckbett Upgrade

Communication about the new Fairphone 2 accessories is somewhat a bit strange… The announcement seems to be made (I read it on Twitter), but it sounds as if it would be incomplete and as far as I can tell there has not yet been any information for the hubs… very unlike 3DHubs… Can someone shed some …

It would be good if the announcement would be made soon as there are already people having their Fairphone2 and looking for 3d printed cases.

I also have frequent order submissions during night time. The really bad thing is that the response clock ist still running then. So my response time got worse. Not in a way the customer would yet realise but significantly. I don’t understand why the clock cannot be stopped DURING THE TIMES NO TEXT…

I tried it on my Ultimaker Original with black Ninjaflex recently. It was not very successful. The vibrations were just a bit too high when reaching the top. I would see more chances for success with a flex case lying flat on the print bed. And a Bowden extruder doesn’t help either… [20141225_Ninj…

I also managed it somehow in the meantime… the higher number of polygons certainly helped to increase quality. However, I’m using Cura for slicing (which is one of the fastest slicer on this planet) and it takes - well - long… [FairphoneCase_Snowflake.jpg]

The picture can be found on my hub’s page where is also a link to the model on Thingiverse.
