Just got the email on new shipping changes starting next week. So we now get penalized for accurate shipping estimates? So basically we just need to add a shipping that says 1 day shipping but price it so high no one ever uses it to be ranked well? What might be next day shipping to one location c…

. Hello Brian and everyone else. We are proud and thankful to be 3D Hubs members for many years now. 3D Hubs has contributed immensely to increase the popularity of 3d printing but with success certain responsibilities are acquired: we want to ask 3D Hubs to set minimum prices per cm3. We are NO…

Hi all. I’m curious to know if people have ever purchased a filament that’s just not performed well at all. A few months back I ordered a large 2kg roll of black ABS filament from eBay, I printed with it for around 20 hours with no issues other than the layers not blending so well. After a while t…

Hi Will it be possible to order multiple parts in a different color each? This feature is currently missing and would save the hassle of multiple orders instead!

Hi team, I want to press relatively soft metals like copper and silver at 24 gauge (0.5mm thick) in hydraulic jewelry press. To do so, I want to 3D print custom female and male dies to press the soft sheet metal into hemispheres. What materials would be best for this in the 3D printing world? Ch…

Last week we launched a dual head printing guide! [Pro1_01_v2_28.jpg] Ever since the start of 3D printing, the most common way to do so has been with one print head. The increased popularity and accessibility of 3D printing has also influenced the demand for 3D printers that are able to combine m…

From complex to easy prints, how do you handle a specific customer order challenges? What techniques did you made in order to accomplish a print? I hope this topic would help everyone, guide our fellow hub members to get successful prints and make our customers happy.

Not only that, but your ranking is now lower if you don’t offer 1 day turnaround with overnight shipping, which is ridiculous

No one can help you. Your question not only displays a total lack of interest and effort, it expects someone to guess what your problem is and then solve it for you.

If you want to become a hub, you should probably take the time to learn more about 3d printing before doing so. Your customers are going to have things that are much harder to print than marvin, and they won’t be able to tell you what settings you need for the printer. I would suggest to start downl…

Agree, and seems like a monopoly or price fixing to me. JUST MY OPINION! Thank God We live in a capitalist economy. 3d hubs has been great to me thus far… I love what they do, and how they do it! I can’t think of a way to make it any more fair. I just worry about myself, and the minimum amount I am …

Along with most people in this thread, I disagree. I have a new-ish hub. I get damn near zero orders. It is NOT because hubs in my area have lower prices. It is because hubs in my area have more reviews. Most people are NOT shopping for the lowest price, they are shopping for the best/most reviews. …

Hi, interesting topic ! It might sound obvious for all of you, but the first thing I’m thinking about, is to talk with the customer about his/her specific need and explain why this specific order will take longer than usual. 3DHubs is like a workshop, and people go to workshops to get parts but al…

I have just read all the thread and totally agree with lyratron and TypeR, and the guys in the end talking about considering the time required to print an order with FDM printers. (I am sorry guys, this will be a long comment.) For 3DHubs, up to now, I have considered start-up price to be equivalen…
