where are you based and how much are you asking for? do you still have the 5 year print head warranty?
-
how much were you hoping to get?
-
did you clean the window of the scanner (green light that is scanning the alignment print) or the window in front of the machine?
-
what is causing it to become detached? is the feed tube getting stuck anywhere?
-
which state are you in and can you ship internationally?
-
have a look at enablingthefuture.org and http://www.futureengineers.org/ feel free to give our page a like as well if you need more ideas!
-
we have a 510, how would we get the image?
-
Hi Ye, sometimes resolution doesnt correlate with transparency and most of the time transparency depends on how you post process your part! here is an article from the formlabs team making camera lenses which address transparency
-
which state are you in?
-
I used to only recommend STL files but more and more I find myself saving in OBJ as the file sizes are sometimes much smaller
-
i dont think these are spam, rather the client not understanding the technology, I would decline and refer them to SLS / SLA prints but I agree with you wholeheartedly that declining orders shouldn’t affect your hub
-
report buttons shouldnt be hard to do, +1 on community mods as well
-
could you share your profiles? cant seem to get s3d working with the makerbots chris@3dprintingguy.com
-
library of your local files? or thingiverse files?
-
great video JR, have saved it for future use! doesnt work on makerbots but for my other machines ill definitely give it a go!
-
much easier to edit the stl than to hack the gcode
-
Try other brands of pla to see if it’s hardware or filament issue
-
@keebie81 suggestions are good ideas, hub views arent always indicative of orders, ive had close to 200,000 views on my hub trying to get your hub services started is always slow at first, some ideas are to join local makerspaces, go to the next 3d hubs meetup, do more prints for family and friends…

I think its volume, no raft, supports and 10% infill
-
SPAM
-
awesome design!
-
are you printing in FDM or SLS?
-
i think the best bet is to post to your local community, im sure others are looking to buy as long as your price is not unreasonable
-
awesome!
-
should be an easy print with PLA
-
Ah! unfortunately im based in Australia and SoCal, but there should be heaps of places around NY since the companies are based over there
-
sorry didnt see you posted the profile will have a look at it over the weekend, havent played around with the profiles we are using, but the main thing is turn on rafts for now
-
Great job guys!

We are working on a simplify3d profile to print without a raft. Don’t know if it’s possible yet
