Hello all !
Has anyone used QIDI Tech and Simplify 3D software together? I’m thinking of purchasing but not sure if it is worth $150…

It’s a makerbot/flash forge clone. I use simplify with flash forges everyday. Simplify is worth thousands of dollars in increased productivity and time savings. It’s a bargain at $150.
Cool…Thanks for that. I have been looking into it and the only downside is that they don’t offer a trial version LOL…I really like to support open source but too many folks are recommending it. I will be downloading it this weekend.
I use the Qidi and simplify3d, and I love it! Took me a week or so to love it and fully convince myself of that lol. I use the (makerbot replicator 1 (dual)), for a base calibration and worked from there!
I know the post is old but I am using S3d with the QIDI. The new version has a set up for the QIDI now. I went straight to this software so I have no real experience with any other. I find that once I get it dialed in it throws me a curve!! So more research and then a solution! I think it is really more that once I get one setting tweaked I find another off setting is exposed. Sort of like leveling the bed, you go round and round but it gets better each time.
The software has basically been trouble free.

I’m using Simplify3D with my dual-extruder QiDi, and it works fine. There have been a few annoyances here and there, but nothing that really messes things up much.
good morning, and tried to connect with qidi 2 simplify3d 3.0.0 extruder and can not get connected, the machine detects me but not work for me when I give the option to print via USB, and several usb proven repeatedly restarted computer and I not know what else could be done to make it work, thanks in advance, greetings
Hi there, i just got a dual extruder Qidi and could find a profile set up already for it on simplify3d was wondering if u could share yours or know where i could get one
If you haven’t tried Flashprint with the Tech-1 yet, give it a shot. Use the Creator Pro as the printer. Does a good job.
S3D is definitely great with these type printers though.
