I have been trying to find a 3D printing service to print some of my builds which have quite a large print size and can only be printed on the Z18. Unfortunately I cannot find any commercial printing services who offerFDM printing on a makerbot. Everything I find online use the industrial printers and offer me prices in thousands of dollars for my part. Can someone recommend a printing service who can give me what I am looking for. My approximate build size is 250mmx150mmx420mm
You should be able to find what your looking for on this site. Just click the large ‘3D Print’ button at the top. This will bring you to a page where you can set up an order. By going through the page you can upload your model, select materials and so on.
At section 3, ‘Select a 3D printing hub’, you’ll want to click on ‘More Filters’. Scroll down to ‘Search Printer By Name’ and type the printer type your looking for. Just type Makerbot and use the drop down box to find the correct printer.
Then you should be set up. You’ll just have to look for a hub and send an order. They’ll be able to guide you from their telling you whether they can print your piece(s) and give you your printed part.
I have several large printers that can handle those dimensions and I specialize in difficult prints. Feel free to contact me if your having trouble finding someone for your project. https://www.3dhubs.com/miami/hubs/mindfull 1
Good luck!
we don’t have a Z18 but a German Reprap X400 with a build size of 400mm x 400mm x 330mm. If this size fits for your object please send me the STL data and I can make you an offer.
As has been stated 3dhubs should be able to show you printers nearest you that can print your model. When you upload via the print button it shouldn’t show you printers that aren’t large enough to handle the print. The Z18 isn’t the only large printer, nor is it the most reliable.
Also you might want to list where you are so that people in your area can speak up.
