Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to find a 3D printing service to print some of my builds which have quite a large print size and can only be printed on the Z18. Unfortunately I cannot find any commercial printing services who offerFDM printing on a makerbot. Everything I find online use the industrial printers and offer me prices in thousands of dollars for my part. Can someone recommend a printing service who can give me what I am looking for. My approximate build size is 250mmx150mmx420mm

Thanks

I have E3D’s Big Box printer, which has a build volume of 300mm x 200mm x 300mm. Is this tall enough for what you need?

Hey @Hadi_Esper

You should be able to find what your looking for on this site. Just click the large ‘3D Print’ button at the top. This will bring you to a page where you can set up an order. By going through the page you can upload your model, select materials and so on.

At section 3, ‘Select a 3D printing hub’, you’ll want to click on ‘More Filters’. Scroll down to ‘Search Printer By Name’ and type the printer type your looking for. Just type Makerbot and use the drop down box to find the correct printer.

Then you should be set up. You’ll just have to look for a hub and send an order. They’ll be able to guide you from their telling you whether they can print your piece(s) and give you your printed part.

Hope you found this useful.

There should be plenty of 3D hubs vendors that have z18s no?

What’s your biggest print? I’ve got an Ultimaker 2+ Extended that’s nearly as big…

Hi there,

Can I offer any assistance, I own a Makerbot Z18. I would be happy to print large objects at a much more reasonable cost.

Kind Regards,
