I was printing this object with .25mm layer height, about 45mm/s speed, 15% infill, 2 shells (other info can be provided) in Matterhackers PRO PLA. As you can see the first several layers are shiny and different than the rest of the print which seems to be duller and worse.
Anyone know what happened and could give advice? Thank you.
check extruder is maintaining a constant temp, check ext fan that its not failing but first thing grab some calipers and check diam of the roll
Thank you,
if my 2.85mm filament were to be 2.9mm would that cause this error? Also if it were to be small or bigger should I change the diameter in the software?
This is a change in temp issue of some sort.
Typically PLA is shinier when it is printed warmer.
Could be: Heated build plate is heating up print.
Fan settings for first few layers…
Check the cooling settings in your printer software!
