I already asked 3dhubs to add N1 N2 and N2Plus (they just forgot to put the company name in front for easy lookup (should be Raise3D N1 , Raise3D N2 and the one i ordered Raise3D N2 Plus )
I meant add to the discussion thread. But thank you zetliger for adding it. I remember telling everybody about 3d hubs and how you added the printer it is because of that message you left i learned about 3d hubs. I recently just met with the guy in charge of marketing and some other guys of 3d hubs on 3d print day in Manhattan. I am waiting for the n2. My name is yadher bustamante on kickstarter
Hi Yadher,
I am anxiously awaiting my N2 Plus got a load of stuff to print ready now and my profile here is waiting till i am done with my own test prints. If the printer delivers what they promised it should be a high quality device. Still shopping around to see who has good filament for a great price. Luckily here in the NL we have several options , the international offers are often expensive due to the shipping costs of the filament
First shipment of Raise3D should be a series of N2 's they will ship later this month (hope yours is in there and cant wait for your review)
But like I was saying originally on Kickstarter how much are you going to spend total because I have the n2 Iâm in New York and if I choose all the upgrades they have plus shipping itâs a little over $900 extra I was thinking of upgrading to the N to + Edward told me I could do this if I paid by tomorrow but then that would be even more almost the price of a another printer
I got the regular n2. I was promised january delivery so i guess i will be in the second batch
yup 21% on the full amount incl options and even shipping. Yes its expensive. Luckily as a business i can deduct it again and get it refunded with the VAT statement to the tax office.
If i sell it or sell products from it i will have to charge the 21% though

Your printer was already on the boat now.
I changed to Air Shipping with Michael, cant wait the extra 6 weeks after all the good stuff i see coming from the printers
My N2+ Should be shipped end of the month if the hollidays (CNY) didnt delay too much
(prob will add 200-250 to the bill)
btw @ Edward, weâre already discussing to order an extra N2 to compliment the N2+ already ordered

Great to know that. Donât forget printer backers like you can get 10% discount. Thanks so much for your great involvement in Raise3D community and Kickstarter campaign, especially you are the first to make Raise3D public in 3D Hub.
Next Aim is to get them to rate the quality of the printer, i am pretty sure it will be a contender for 1st place, especially once the V2 hotend is released. With a bit of luck more 3D hubbers will be enjoying a Raise3D printer soon. (I think regular and pre-orders will ship from March and onward? )
One more Reminder, until Feb 15 they run a 15% discount on their website

I backed the Raise3D N1, just got it yesterday but there is a major drawback, you have to use their PLA, regular PLA jams in the top of the extruder due to heat creep I guess⌠so they are going to release a replacement hotend they are calling V2, but it is unclear whether all backers will be getting this replacement for free or if we have to pay for it? If we have to buy it that will be a real disappointment for the backers as it was advertised to work with all filament types, PLA, ABS, PETG, etc, etc.
The V2 hotend will be priced around 50-80 USD + Shipping
They estimate the shipping date for the first ones is at the end of march.
The exact price is not known yet since they are still tweaking it
There will not be a âspecialâ price for backers, or better said it IS the backer price since they will ship all new ones (pre-orders etc) with a V2
Lots of ppl do manage to use more then the standard PLA with a V1 nozzle but it does require more tweaking, slower speeds less retraction etc. The V2 will solve a lot of these problems (as stated by Raise3D in their tests)
My advice is to buy a V2 when available since its not just easier to use other filaments but also the printing speeds can be upped with the V2 nozzle (doubling it at times!!) while retaining the quality
Well I think this sucks, they are shipping all new ones with a V2, which we should have gotten in the first place, since this was advertised to print with PLA and it doesnât, only âspecialâ PLA. and I have dozens of rolls of standard PLA that are useless on this machine.
Huge disappointment, because now I will have to pay $100 - $160 to get my dual extrude machine to the advertised specs, somehow this doesnât sit right as that makes the Kickstarter deal not look so good compared to just purchasing one now.
Why didnât they âtestâ the original V1 before shipping all these units that donât support standard PLA, they had plenty of time to do their testing before releasing a half-baked version.
That is one of the risks in a kickstarter, personally i am already happy to have backed the right printer since most of the kickstarter printers are still not delivered. It is not comparable to a webshop where you expect a fully developed product.
Also the kickstarter price is a lot lower then buying a new one with a V2 included right now so yes i understand the frustration but i would still think it a good deal for what they delivered its a rock solid base that is easily to upgrade / mod etc
And (assuming you have posted the same on the raise3d forum and kickstarter) as you can read in their forum there have been good results with all sorts of filaments even with the V1 unmodded extruder. (or with a mod on the feeder, a bigger bearing)
btw after the V2 upgrade they will work on a new feeder system too and ofc you are free to experiment with other extruders etc as long as you do not use anything destructive to mod the system (no hacksaws, axes, flamethrowers etc)
Most parts are very accessible and removed with a few screws
Well since it is brand new I certainly wasnât planning on doing any âmoddingâ immediately just to get it to print plain old PLA.
I could understand if it didnât support some exotics like flex or something but PLA is the most common basic filament that everyone has and they should have supported that at the very least.
I backed the Craftbot campaign and it printed PLA immediately no problem. I also backed Weistek Speed and it prints PLA just fine. I am also backing The Big Box, the Beast, and ReadyBox and I am assuming those will print PLA right at the start or they will have some pretty unhappy backers.
Since i am not from Raise3D iâd advice to send them an email , they might be able to help get things running.
