A wearable print to pimp your Halloween Swag :

Low-Poly Devil Marvin Mask 2

Enjoy this awesome low-poly devil Mask of our very own Marvin, just in time for Halloween. I highly recommend printing it in Glow In The Dark, simply because it looks epic. By the way - it’s me wearing the mask here above.

Also funny detail, the string to attach the max is Ninja Flex filament

Printed on a LeapFrog Creatr HS with Glow in the Dark Filament from @b

No support required, just printed it upside down with a raft, all good ! Files available on YouMagine 5 and @Cults as well!

Low-Poly Marvin 5

Very nice version of Marvin, the low poly give him a retro look that I’m really diggin !

Printed on BeeTheFirst in 0,05mm layer height and 20% infill. Small defect on the base of the feet as the most sharp eyed will notice  Files available on YouMagine 2 and @Cults as well!

In addition to the Low-Poly Marvin - we also have two Halloween versions for you guys.

Low-Poly Frankenstein Marvin

Marvin got a scary remake for Halloween, sharp teeth and wide forehead, with some nuts on the side of his neck, Frankenstein style !

Printed with FaberDashery Glow in the Dark filament, using DeeGreen printer, just Epic !

Low-Poly Devil Marvin 7

This is my personal Favorite, Low poly and Devil-skull head are just perfect for a Halloween Marvin !

Printed with the same filament and printer as the Frankenstein Marvin.

A nice Gif with those two under light and in the dark :

Victor

Thanks 3D Hubs for everything! I must admit that the original Marvin looks great, but I always found the model to be a little bit difficult to print (50% because of the size, 50% because of the keychain part). I tried to solve all the problems I had encountered when printing all the Marvins I’ve printed so far. We could say the Marvin I’ve designed has the graphics of a Playstation 1 model!

I guess something about 5/6 hours print !

Don’t remember exactly the settings but nothing crazy:

Temp : 200°C

Speed : 6000 mm/min (a bit too fast even for Creatr “HS”)

Infill : 20% Planning to make a new One with 100% for a better glow effect

Only important thing is to print it upside down with a big raft so it don’t fall under it’s own weight

Also scaling it a little bit to make it smaller.

How practical is it to wear it? My concerns are aimed to the weight issue you raised

All the masks I’ve designed so far easily printed (no support material needed!). In all the tests I’ve made I’ve seen that the masks can be printed with 1-2 shells and very little infill. The weight shouldn’t be any problem, and I tell this because I used other big halloween mask last year during all the night and I didn’t feel any heavy thing on my face (except my big nose). Give it a try with 2 shells and very little infill and you will see it’s not heavy!
