I’m looking to have anywhere from 20 to 40 beer tap handles made. I’m not sure how to do it most affordably. We have somebody who has made a CAD design for the handle – it is only one design that we’d like to replcate x number of times. I realize we could use a service to 3D print each tap handle, but would it be cheaper to print a wax cast and do something like lost wax casting? What if we wanted them in a material like bronze? Any advice is appreciated.

I only have limited experience with casting and making moulds, but i have a couple of suggestions. You could have one tap printed, make a silicone negative and use that to cast wax models of the handle and then use lost wax casting. Alternatively, you could use the first silicone mould to make the taps from resin.

Hello,
To find out which is the most efficient production method you can request quotes

From 20 to 40 it’s not easy to know and perhaps print each is the best way…
If you pass the design on my hub, with parts nb, the resolution you want, color…etc, I’ll be happy to let you know the price of printing these parts.
greetings

Hi what size is your design? We have a Projet 1200 from 3d Systems that prints in a castable resin.
