Looking to have some tap handles made

I’m looking to have anywhere from 20 to 40 beer tap handles made. I’m not sure how to do it most affordably. We have somebody who has made a CAD design for the handle – it is only one design that we’d like to replcate x number of times. I realize we could use a service to 3D print each tap handle, but would it be cheaper to print a wax cast and do something like lost wax casting? What if we wanted them in a material like bronze? Any advice is appreciated.

I only have limited experience with casting and making moulds, but i have a couple of suggestions. You could have one tap printed, make a silicone negative and use that to cast wax models of the handle and then use lost wax casting. Alternatively, you could use the first silicone mould to make the taps from resin.

Hello, We do silicone molds. We can cold cast the part. Plus we can 3d print your part and you don’t have to do anything we will do the 3d printing and the casting. We use the formlabs form 1+ the highest resolution on desktop. Here are some examples. Thanks Sunshine Prototyping’s hub

From 20 to 40 it’s not easy to know and perhaps print each is the best way…
