I’m Jasper, Co-founder of Reflow. Reflow is a social enterprise that transforms used plastic bottles into high quality 3D print filament in developing countries. Our goal is to improve the lives of waste pickers from these countries and build 3D printing eco-systems around the world.
We’ve set up our first production facilities in Mexico and Tanzania. We are currently looking for 3D print enthusiast in Amsterdam that want to help by answering some brief questions and testing the first production cycles of filament.
If you are interested, please let us know by either answering this thread or sending an email to Jasper@reflowfilament.com.
Hi Jasper, I do live in Eindhoven and have a built my own Prusa Steel printer, currently I use 1.75 mm PETG as my favorite filemanet material, let me know if I can help you out.
I’m located in Canada, but would be glad to help out if you expand over seas. I love the idea of re-purposing those pesky bottles into something useful again. Kind of like an offset for our filament footprint, due to the occasional failed print.
Thanks for the comment! We’ll be testing in NL first but will expand internationally over the next few months. Would you be open to setting up a Skype talk so we can ask you some questions in the meantime?
Thanks! We’ll add you to the list. Would you also be open to setting up a Skype session, really interested to hear what you are doing with filaments.directory!
That would be great. I’ll let you know once the filament is ready and will get some to you! Would it be possible to schedule a Skype talk before that, would love to hear your experience on using PETg!
