How strong will this face plate (attached) be if printed in proto-pasta stainless steel? I want the face plate to be able to take a beating? How strong will the rest of the helmet be if printed in this thickness, assuming you know iron man’s helmet? Thanks.

The item will not be stronger because of the stainless steel in the filament, it will be heavier though

The powder they add usually does not have the size and thus ability to “grab together” to make it stronger.

Are you trying to print it or get it printed? I’d say test it or order a sample print. If you need to know how thick to make the model order a set of sample plates 1" x 1" x 1/16,1/8,1/4 or whatever thickness you are thinking of. I order custom materials (within reason) for sample prints when it’s requested. I’ll normally print off the rest of the spool on giveaways or props. https://www.3dhubs.com/grand-rapids-mi/hubs/miaviator

That is actually really smart. Would you be able to do that for me?

Yes. If you polished up the filament and then coated it with a powder laced epoxy it would quite awesome.
