Agree. I’m in the same boat. I meticulously build my printers with nothing but the best components and they have capabilities that exceed most high end printers I’m aware of, yet what people see is “Other” with a grey question mark next to it. As much as I hate this, I have been hesitant to complain because I was hoping they scrap the printer branding all together. Many customers show up already confused and I don’t think this info is useful to most, especially since so many people end up making some mod to their off the shelf kit as well. I see the printer as kind of a paintbrush anyway. Have the best one is great, but it doesn’t mean you know how to paint. I really just want to be able to express what my capabilities are let the results speak for themselves. I definitely don’t think my grey question mark is helping…
