Some how my throat screw snapped in two. It’s held together by the tube inside it, I believe that is PTFE tubing that runs in through there but not sure.

Anyhow, I see online where I can order a replacement but was wondering if you if this is a type of thing a hardware store would carry? I can’t imagine this screw was invented purely for 3D printers. There must be other applications for it. Does anyone know if a hardware store stocks something like this?

No, you can’t get them in the hardware store. It is designed only for i3 printers.

You can get them on eBay quite easily.
As they live in a hot environment, the tube must be made of PTFE otherwise it would melt.
I doubt a local hardware stall would have exactly the right size.
I know it’s frustrating to be short of parts, but its worth getting the correct tube otherwise it could clog up.

Filament change in one click.
Titan work with any NEMA 17 but i change to 22mm because it is lighter in weight.

You need remember it Titan gearing ratio is 3:1 because small stepper work very well.
in default steps/mm = 837
I use the original and the Chinese model, they are almost the same. (100GBP+ vs ~30EUR)
