You could have a designers guide too, that looks at more artistic uses and features discusses using the none-CAD files. For those that dont need such precise measurements.

Hi, I know there are a few CAM softwares that do accept 3D files like obj / stl. Not used them yet. What is the name of the Phino CAM add-on. Regards,

Sigh, I have been having problems trying to get people to accept my Obj or Stl files for CNC milling. Seems they prefer Solid CAD models not Surface models. If I was an Engineer, OK, but for more artistic CNC uses why would I be using CAD software? Zymon
