Prusa i3 not printing solid final layer

i uploaded an svg of this logo into 123d design, edited it a bit, added a backplate for the intended use, exported as stl into slic3r and the preview looks fine, however, when it prints, it does not print a solid layer top (set to 3 layers). what is odd is that it seems to have printed to the approp…
