Small layer shifts back and forth on both axes. Print always corrects itself after a few layers. Anyone know how to fix?

Ctc dual/bizer (lots of names for it). It is a makerbot clone.

Small layer shifts back and forth on both axes. Print always corrects itself after a few layers. Anyone know how to fix?

3d prints keep shifting left and right. I put pillow blocks on the z axis rods to stop the bed moving side to side and that made it a bit better but the bed is rock solid now and there is still shifting. the last picture is showing that there is shifts at similar locations on the 3 prints. the layer…
