Perry, Setting (in my case) Left Extruder Only in S3D is what set that extruder’s temp to 0 in the first place, so yes, I’m sure. In any case, what does it matter how the temp for the unused extruder got set to zero? You said ‘this one has caught me before’ - can you be more specific? Frank

I have a PowerSpec 3D PRO (FF Creator PRO clone) and I use S3D for slicing/print management. I have noticed that for single extruder prints with the ‘Left Extruder Only’ setting in S3D, the right extruder still heats up to normal operating temp (200-230 deg), even though it is set to 0 on the ‘Tempe…
