i got the Rep2 upgraded to 2x, the only thing to check is the heated bedplate that have some imperfections and x Axis cable that is very stressed, but lastest are build better. Mine prints well with PLA and ABS too… even without raft!

near the fan pin there is a black rectangular with 3 pins, that’s the not working component. you can find it on Rs.com

Have you ever try to reflash firmware… Try to flash sailfish. In other case take a look to a small black rectangular component with 3 pin near the heater connector… In my experience i had similar problem with the blower fan…Mine has burned with a voltage shock. The component drives current to pins. …

i Got the 2x but it’s the same. I had the xaxis that missed steps, but was the cable broken, it’s common that x cable cuts, try to check wiring integrity.
