The printer is calibrated in the factory so you should be able to print anything just fine right from the start. Check out Thingiverse for ideas. However I’d recommend do start with something small first, so if things go wrong you won’t have lost much.

Just pry it carefully from the buildtak with a sharp knife. Swiss Army knife works just fine for me.
