yes, i do this. I take original al plate then i clamp a glass (cut with dremel) and finally I put the vinalvil. 24h later it’s ready. you can put another vinavil when it finished. Another tip when i print with ABS i use hair spray into plate, so as to improve the grip.

Hello usually the plate is in aluminum but the glass is more efficient for heating all surface. for abs and pla I use glass with a glue (Vinavil).
