Have you tried the abs juice, it work nicely for me

I use fresh filament to make the juice

Me too having same problem with Zortrax m200, I tried platform maintenance, but still it’s occurring often in Zortrax m200

We had this problem many times but we solved this in a very easy way.

We placed our Zortrax in a cabinet. No warping anymore. But sometimes, temperature can rise to high, so when we have large prints we leave the door a little open.

Hi there I’m curious of the dimensions of the print… Assuming it’s abs? It will improve the troubleshooting if the exact material is known. Is the anchor/raft embedding nicely to the holes? This could be a problem.

as a work around, try putting some small coin shape objects (stl models ) around the perimeter of house.

this will increase the raft size.

Im relatively new to this game so if anyone has a better solution in keen to learn too.

keep us posted if you find a solution that works.

Hello,

Take a look:

http://support.zortrax.com/warping-syndrome-solution/ 108

Long story short:

In the case of big prints, we recommend the following solutions:
- make sure that the temperature in the room is stable and that there are no air flows,
- print with a light or a mesh infill (mesh means 0% infill),
- print with Z-Ultrat, Z-HIPS, Z-PETG
- put side covers on your printer while printing with Z-Ultrat, Z-ABS and Z-HIPS – the covers are available in our store: https://zortrax.com/store/upgrades-and-parts 31

Printing large models using Z-ABS is not exactly recommended due to its shrinkage. However, that could be also heating issue so information from link above won’t help you, give me a shout through our Support Form - Support form - Zortrax 15

Regards,

I had the same problem at the biggining. For me ABS juice solved the problem.

Hi

When printing objects with a large area, we rub a glue-stick (for sticking paper) all over the platform, except for the silver squares. Problem solved.

Haven’t tried the ABS juice as suggested by Totof1965 yet. But we’ll give it a try sometime.

Hi Paul,

Try to close the sides of the printer, ideal version is to buy side covers from zortrax (the low cost version is cardboard and it will do, but it wont look nice), make the ABS juice (slurry). I make mine more dense ~150mg Acetone with 50 gr of ABS plastic. Keep it closed, acetone vaporize fast, also very toxic so do this outside. Doesn’t matter which color since you print with raft all the time. Also i make mine from used ABS so do not waste new filament. You can apply the juice with paper towel or some kind of brush (make sure that material doesn`t react with acetone)

Hi,

I am new to Zortrax M200 and am interested in your cabinet.

What is the temperature inside?

Any problems so far?

Would you like to share a picture of your cabinet?
