I am having problems with my printer out of the box. I have it set up and when i have all the axis return the their normal positions the Y will go all the way to the back and sounds like it tries to continue to go back and skips for about 10 seconds. I have not been able to print either. It wont tell me why but when i select something to print it makes several beeping noises and returns to the main screen. Id really love to be able to print something here. Any advice?

What type of printer? Sounds like some variant of a prusa. Can you verify the endstop is wired correctly and no wires came loose, popped off or are blocking the y endstop?

I think at first , I need you to check the limit switches. Indeed, an axis stop its continuous race is often linked to a switch problem. Most often , you only slightly straighten the blade contactor to solve this type of problem.
