Wow, you pretty much nailed your carbon fiber Marvin! How did you like printing with this particular filament?

Nice to see more people using carbon fibre! @gabriela3d, I absolutely love the XT-CF20 stuff, it has really low warping and the satin black finish is absolutely magnificent.

I can see I stroke a chord there, in a positive way of course, so I’m happy to hear it  What are you printing with it?

So far I’ve had a few orders to print, mostly Quadcopter parts. I myself used it for an E3D v6 printhead assembly for my Ultimaker, a stabiliser bracket for a friends Printrbot and a number of racebike accessories, that are still work in progress. So yeah, hats off to @! Very nice filament you guys made here.

Nice! A friend of mine is looking to pimp his bike with 3D printed accessories - which ones did you go for?

certainly, I only put the filament on top…charge the g code that always used to print with PLA…and increase the temp to the limit of my Hephestos…240C…so easy. Tomorrow I will share the Slic3r parameters.

Naturally, nothing off the shelf will satisfy the heart of a true 3D printor. It had to be designed by myself. I can’t spill all details yet, since I’m looking to collaborate with a bike apparel store to produce a small run of some of my designs for them to sell. But the more ordinary, personal stuff includes chain deflectors, mud guards and a ceiling lift mounting system.
