Hello !

I’m new in this forum, and I came here to seek help for installing my new E3D-V6 to my anet A8.

The extruder came all installed, so the last thing I have to do is print the extruder support and connect it to the motherboard.

And this is where I genuinely don’t know what to do…

I can’t figured out how to connect the extruder temperature sensor to my motherboard. There is 3 pins for the connector on the motherboard but only two in the cable. To help you see what I’m talking about there are two attachments below.

Second problem, a bit weird. The connector for the fan of the E3D is the same for the stock extruder so there is no fitting problem. But I can’t get the new E3D fan working when I plug its connector in the motherboard.

Sorry if I made mistake but English is not my native language… Anyway, I’m looking forward to read your replies !

Thank you very much !

The thermistor connector needs to go to pin 1 and 3(no parity). As I remembered, the fan connector is reversed(red and black wires should be reversed).

Thank you for your quick and helpful reply ! I gonna try to unplug the current wires from the little white adapter to plug the new ones as you explained.

Have a nice day !
