Windows to iOT boards t network 3d printers

ok so probably old news to most now but windows 10 have released a developer board wic allows you to network most usb devices, and is aimed at 3d printer networking?! pretty cool right? now obviously so far it only supports main stream printers but they are taking requests, im hoping if we bombard them enough we may get the CTC on there?

my question is , is there anything like this already to network our ctc’s? would be awesome to be able to check on a print in work from home without having to leave my laptop next to it with team viewer on

as i understand it octoprint is not compatable with any makerbot 5th gen clones like the ctcs that use mightyboard firmware?

i looked at octoprint early on but after researching into it , it turns out to be yet another thing our printers arent compatable with? shame really i really wanna network my printer

you need the gpx plugin if you are running a mightyboard wth sailfish.

Also astroprint and the creators of sailfish firmware have worked together, so Astroprint is another option.
