I want a printer that can print complicated parts for prototyping and silicon molding.
Here is the key features that I want;
- Dual Extruder (for pva support materials)
- Multi material support (pla, abs, pva, ninjaflex, nylon, cpe etc…)
- Easy maintenance
But the most important feature that I want is reliability and stability, I want to trust that the printer can print same object with same dimensions over and over again.
I’m currently look these printers; Ultimaker 3, Zortax M300, Makerbot Replicator, Cubicon Single Plus and Raise3D.
What is your suggestions? Which printer should I buy?
It’s reliable and has one of the biggest build volumes in its class.
Thanks to Zortrax ecosystem, it provides repetitive highest quality of prints.
Materials available for M300 can be easily used for prototyping and silicone moulding.
What is more, maintenance is easy, all instructions are available on our website and we’re always there to help you.
Considering all the above and the fact that you can now buy it with a 33% discount (plus additional service parts and 6 spools of materials), it’s a real deal maker

Hi @relevantname tough choice, I don’t think you’d go too far wrong with any of those, however the Cubicon and the Zortrax are both single extruders, so if dual heads is a must, they’re out of the list. Makerbot have a dual-head machine but it’s not top of the line and really no comparison to the UM3 or the Raise3D.
My gut feeling would be the UM3, but it’s a really tough call. There’s no doubt the UM3 is a superb machine and apparently especially handy with PVA. The N2 is a very appealing machine but it’s a relative newcomer so may have some “rough edges”, and I’ve no info on how well it handles PVA supports.
