I am planning on getting a 3d printer and I am looking at 3 options: the TEVO Tarantula, MP Select Mini, and HE3D K200. The K200 has really good reviews, but the other 2 are cheaper, and I want to know which one gives the most bang for the buck.

I’ve owned a Monoprice Mini since late last year. It’s my first 3D printer.

Aside from the relatively small build area, I am very happy with it. The quality of prints, when everything is dialed in correctly, rivals machines costing much more. It’s easy to work with, clear clogs, mod, etc. There’s close to 7k of people on FB who exchange information, tips, suggestions. The new model of the Mini is due out in a week or three and it incorporates many of the mods that users have been making, including an E3D compatible hot end (something I installed last month.) Currently I’m trying to figure out how to fit a second Mini into my small apartment.

Hi ketchupmaster,

Before place an order ask yourself those questions:

what’s your budget?

would you mind assembling for several hours?

what’s you gonna print?

featuring a small build volume is not a good thing cause if you want to print sth larger later, you may have to get a new machine…

BTW, I’m a 3d Printer manufacturer. We have independent R&D department, focusing on 3d printers only.

So if you want a 3d printer gives the most bang for the buck, contact me. there are two model for your reference as below:
