Im needing cheap nylon or a stronger material for very small scale manufacturing purposes. Would anyone know where I can get cheap raw nylon filament for cheaper than taulman bridge which is about $19 a pound?

I’m sure there is cheaper nylon filament out there somewhere. But I’m not sure at all if they are worth your time! Taulman’s stuff has been around a long time and still isn’t exactly easy to use. Even though Bridge aims at being more printing friendly, it still is a bit of a mission to get decent prints.
What I’m saying then is, yes, Taulman is expensive, but cheaper stuff may be completely unusable.

I haven’t tried this yet… But I’ve heard if you’re careful, want to experiment, and find the right size, weed eater string can be used. Although having used Taulman stuff (618 and 680 in my experience), I can say they’re really good stuff. Although as Jonas mentioned, they can be tricky. Good luck!
