Hi @Beto_Monstro

Are you looking for a Printer ? Or are you looking for a hub that can print this for you ?

In case you are looking for general information on the type of printer to be used or which material to use.

Please provide an image of your design so we can give you good feedback related to your design.

There is no “one answer” in the 3d printing world, everthing is connected to the shape of the design.

Thanks for answer @StudioK well, i dont have the design yet, but i have 2 ideas for my products, 1 is just iphone 6/6+ back cover normal no special thing but the other one is going to be a case for a custom batery pack so it will need screw holes to support batteries and electronic pieces and need to be some kind of resistant for everyday use, i as thinking in a resing 3d printer like form+1 or an ABS printer like Flashforge Creator Pro 3D but i dont know if the price of the form1+ worth the cost and if abs is that resistant. thats my dilema

Hi @Beto_Monstro ,

I think that the best plastic to print a case in is a FDM plastic.More specifically ABS.

Here’s why.

The resin printer’s prints, are usually not very durable and are quite brittle. So would easily crack when taking on and off the case. Also it would be a lot more expensive in resin.

So you are left with the FDM printers. PLA and ABS are the most common plastics.

PLA is very hard but also very brittle and snaps when making cases ( I have tried). It also has a glass melting point of around 50 c, so not good if you’re housing hot electronics.

ABS, on the other hand, is not quite as stiff as PLA so can be easily removed and put on with breaking. And is still very durable. I have had my iphone in an ABS case for about 6 months and hasn’t broken or worn down a bit yet (which I can’t say the same about the PLA one). It also can hold up to temperatures of about 105c.

So basically, go with ABS.

Hope this helps
