Hi

i have a 3D file but wanting to know the meterial i would need for this to be strong but light.

its a mount that fits into a CNC type plotter that controls the router x and y and z.

this is the originally design by the manufacture, however it has been known to break at the mount point ( its honeycomb core) rotary-adapter.stl

without going crazy what would be a good materiel on this sit to print it with a bit more strength

Without going crazy, well tuned PLA at 70% infill. ABS or petg at 50% infill. If they need more strength increase the extrusion a bit. I hold up to 300 lbs of sheer force on PLA and PVC for garage shelving and PLA on PVC for 60 rolls of filament without breaking.
