Hi!

I personally use an MP Select Mini (V1) and I can definitely say that it is a great little work horse.

The community and their support is also rather friendly and helpful. The MPSM has taught me a lot about printing, without the hassle of building and troubleshooting from scratch. The build volume is small and that does limit you.

You can also have a look at clones for the Prusa i3, but none of them will come close to the original from Joseph Prusa.
